There are many kinds of lanyards to know how to make. The lanyards made are polyester, woven, tubular, nylon and blank. Lanyards come as imprinted, custom and colored material. There is also many attachments, that appear to be hooks or links to the lanyards.
For the polyester lanyards, there is a choice of texts and designs that may be created by anyone by a process called silk screen printing. For the woven lanyards, there can be all sorts of colors, a logo and a text combined into them, they are of custom embroidered, long lasting material. For the tubular lanyards, a soft tube stitched material is used along with a silk screen machine that will print out logos and texts on to them. For the nylon lanyards, there is a smoother material. For the blank lanyards, there is only color needed to have them made.
Metal and plastic badge reels are new add on items that people like to enquire about for identification cards that come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors. Other lanyards are beaded, corded and cotton. There are uses for all of the lanyards, after they are done being made. Some uses of lanyards are to carry around pens, cellphones, whistles and water bottle holders. Most of the lanyards are really durable when wearing them as well.
The machinery that is for making lanyards varies between light to heavy duty and manual to automatic type of work involved. More attachment preferences are snaphooks, bulldog clips, split rings, quick release buckles, breakaway connectors and size adjustors. The common methods of imprinting are, hot stamping, screen printing, dye sublimation, full color, laser engraving and embossing.
